For the selections that have “Big Book” in front of the title, I use a bigger book than what is typically printed for general audiences. You can find these books online or in library collections.
Music Selection
Instruments or Scarf Songs
- Sleeping Bunnies by The Derry Hares: Use instruments as alarm clocks or scarves as blankets as you follow along with the song.
- Rock-A-Bye Baby by Raffi: Use scarves to sway to the music. Have participants move the scarf left to right below the knees and above the head, wave at chest height for wind, and drop the scarf to watch it float down.
- Moon Moon Moon by The Laurie Berner Band: Use scarves to dance to the music. I use the movement from the music video below and have the participants wave the scarves above their heads when the song says “look up”
